After Treatments

Atlantic Carpet Cleaners provides a complete line of after treatments to help protect your carpets and upholstery. These services are optional an will be quoted upon request.

1. Blockade Carpet Protector

Manufactured by Dupont, Blockade is a quick-drying Teflon based product. We recommend the application of Blockade on all carpet types. Even if you have carpet with built-in soil and stain protection you should still use Blockade to assure continued soil and stain protection after your carpets have been professionally cleaned.

Blockade is safe for use around people and pets. It leaves no odor or residue and is CFC and solvent free.

2. Von Schrader Fabric Protector.

Protects against dirt, grease and stains from spills on upholstery. Our fabric protector forms an invisible barrier which keeps spills from being absorbed into the fabric. Spills simply bead up on the surface and can be wiped away easily. Normal vacuuming will remove dirt, maintaining the fabric's fresh appearance.

3. Un-Duz-It

Permanently removes pet odor problems such as urine, feces and vomit. Un-Duz-IT is applied after cleaning. For serious urine problems injection may be needed.

4. Microban X-580

We use Microban X-580 primarily to treat for dust mites after cleaning upholstery and bedding. This product eliminates mold and mildew. It is also effective in controlling fleas, ants beetles and their larvae.

5. Odor Exploder

This product will neutralize the disagreeable odors from pets, saturated stale food odors, smoky fireplaces and other odors not caused by mold or mildew. This is not a masking agent but an odor counteracter.
